Strength Training

Strength training involves using various modes of equipment to achieve an overall level of strength in your musculature. Any form of equipment can be used however the most popular forms of equipment are dumbbells and barbells. By using this equipment the body gets stronger by over coming gravity which in turn not only strengthens our muscles but also our bones. This is very important not only for athletes but also the aging adult population who are prone to fractures. Strength training can help prevent many debilitating injuries like broken hips, arms and rotator cuff tears.
